I just finished rebuilding this site after a lengthy hiatus from my studio. I’m back at it after having moved, renovated a building, had some kids and performed the noble duty of being a stay at home parent for 6 years. It turns out that welding and pouring molten metal are not things you can do while taking care of babies, so I taught myself film photography and vintage camera repair. I am happy to be back making new mechanical, electrical and kinetic sculptures which still deal with psychological and relationship issues, and now I have new interests dealing with social justice, parenting and domesticity swirling around in my head to add into the mix. I can't wait to share my new works as I finish them.
While working part time for several museums I found a niche career building museum mounts that combines all my engineering and fabrication skills with my love of making sculpture.
